CPCS A61 Appointed Persons Lifting Operations Course
Who is the course for?
This course is administered by the Construction Plant
Competence Scheme and is designed for individuals who will be responsible for
the planning, organising and controlling of lifting operations in the
workplace.
The aim and objective of this course is to provide the
candidate with the underpinning knowledge, to be able to understand their roles
and responsibilities when planning lifting operations, as per current
legislation

Completion of the course:
Candidates will take a verbal theory test, and complete a
practical assessment. Successful candidates will receive a 2 Year CPCS Category
A61 Red Trained Operator License
Those with 2-3 years or more experience can progress
straight on with the NVQ Level 6 Planning Lifting Operations assessment to
achieve the 5 Year CPCS Blue Competent Operator card
Prerequisites
You must have a good understanding and knowledge of current
Health & Safety issues.
The CITB Managers & Professional Health & Safety
touch screen test must be current and in date. (Completed within the last 24
months)
We can provide the CSCS HS&E at our West Midlands
training centre.
