Catastrophic Bleed Management Training Course

This 1/2 day course provides learners with guidance on catastrophic bleeding control, including dealing with the inherent dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering First Aid in a high-risk working environment. We can arrange bespoke training sessions at our centre or the clients site

The Catastrophic Bleed Management Course is aimed at teaching people how to provide life – saving treatment before the arrival of the emergency services in the event of an incident.

While many people know how to react to a medical emergency such as a heart attack and asthma attack, a different approach is needed to act effectively after a life-threatening catastrophic injury.

This course can also be used for workers who feel their workplace has a high risk chance of catastrophic bleed in the work place, this is an ideal course for the construction industry, demolition etc.

The course instructs delegates in the use of Emergency Care Bandages dressings, hemostatic agents, CAT Tourniquets and Emergency Care Trauma Bandages.
