Who is the course for?
This course offers a thorough instruction in welding and cutting techniques with Oxy/Acetylene equipment. Operatives requiring to becomeproficient in gas welding, or experienced operatives needing refresher training should attend.
Course Content Includes:
· Employer’s and employee’s responsibilities

Hazards arising from the use of welding equipment
· Suitability of different welding methods
· Storage of gas and welding materials
· Testing and inspection

· Basic and advanced techniques
Completion of the course:
Candidates will take a short written test, and a practical assessment. Successful candidates will receive a certificate of competence.
