IPAF Access Platform Operators Course.

Who is the course for?
Anyone who operates any type of Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP), such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, or trailer mounted or vehicle mounted boom lifts, should take this course to comply with the duties placed upon employers and employees by law. The International Powered Access Federation licence is recognised all over the world, and can be endorsed with different categories of MEWP.
Course Content :
This course is the course approved by IPAF, who are the main international body governing access platform operations. Topics covered include:
• Employer’s and employee’s legal responsibilities
• Different categories of MEWPs
• Main structural parts of MEWPs
• Pre-use inspections
• Testing and inspection
• Safe operating methods
• Practical training
Completion of the course:
Candidates will take a written test, and following practical training also take a practical assessment. Successful candidates will receive a certificate issued by IPAF and a photo I.D. IPAF licence showing the category or categories of MEWP on which they have been trained. The licence is internationally accepted.
Please Note: The price shown below is for training on a single category of MEWP, and includes the certification and licence issue fee. Training for extra categories can be completed within the one day course at an extra cost of £50.00 per category.
