Who is the course for?
This course provides basic instruction in correct operation of forestry equipment, such as brush cutters, wood chippers, flail mowers, hedge cutters etc. for novice and inexperienced operators. The course can be tailored to the specific equipment to be used, and in this case it may be possible to reduce the duration to ½ day. Although it provides training as referred to in the laws relating to work equipment and health and safety, it does not provide a full NPTC certificate for professional operators. The course for the NPTC certificate is a longer course, but we can offer this if required.

Completion of the course:Candidates will take a short written test, and receive a course handout summarising the topics covered. Successful candidates will receive a certificate of competence.
